Jessica Fechtor is the author of the bestselling memoir, Stir: My Broken Brain and the Meals that Brought Me Home. Her writing has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Tablet, and on her blog, Sweet Amandine (now archived here).
Jessica earned a B.A. in music from Columbia University, and masters degrees in Jewish literature from Oxford and Harvard. She lives in San Francisco, where she is currently at work on a musical about creativity in the face of mortality and invention as a form of love, and a play about a piano.
